WeatherBUFF is our moniker for weather-related products created by the Meteorology and Climatology Program at SUNY Buffalo State. Included is current campus weather (a link to outputs from the campus weather station); samples of various student weather forecasts; the WeatherBUFF radio show (hosted by our students); WeatherBUFFgraph showing climate trends for the Buffalo, NY area; a Snow Graph reflecting snowfall totals recorded on campus (measured by a student snow spotter on campus); a student ‘Lake Effect’ model (developed by a high school student intern); and the Groundhog Forecast Network, a tongue-in-cheek look at long range climate forecasting, born from numerous trips, by our students, to experience Groundhog Day in Punxsutawney, PA. Other products may be added from time-to-time.
